“In the end we only regret the chances we didn't take."
The sport of reining strives to produce a horse that obeys its riders every cue. At MHPH we specialize in maximizing the potenial of each horse as an individual, our objective being to improve each horse in our program to the best of our ability. Training is not just about pulling a horse out of a stall and riding it every day, its about developing a full program for that horse from nutrition and farrier to therapy, veterinary, and of course time spent under saddle. Our signature is happy, healthy horses who can continue to perform for years to come. Mark has experience producing horses at the highest levels of our sport and he uses that knoweledge and experience to manage the horses in our program, helping our owners to create and reach their goals both for the individual horse as well as their personal goals for ownership. We believe in the journey of the sport of reining and happily welcome horses to our program from all stages. So whether you want to select a yearling and ride along for the full journey, or you’d like assistance with your aged horse looking to make a come back, and every stage in between, we’re here to help you.
Mark as a showman is currently eligible in Levels 1,2,3 and 4 in Categories 2&6 of the NRHA. This allows our owners to maximize their potential return on investment at shows by allowing them the ability to place and collect checks in multiple levels. Mark knows what it takes to produce a top level horse, both for the show arena and the sale arena. Customers can enjoy the advantage of Mark’s vast experience, while feeling secure in the wider opportunities at success from his broad eligibility.
New shows will be added throughout the year as we make decisions for our clients and horses
