Mark’s Coaching Philosophy

1. Foster passion for the sport

Instill a passion for the sport of reining in all students

2. Teach good horsemanship

All students first and foremost need to know about being the best steward for their horse

3. Set Goals

Mark wants his students to dream big. He encourages students to set goals both big and small to give them something to work towards.

4. Make Plans

Plan to work and work to plan. The first part of reining is to learn the basics of the sport, the second part is to further that learning by working towards goals.

5. Reach Goals

Big or small MHPH loves to celebrate students reaching thier goals! We are always so proud of all of our students and whether they just completed their first pattern on course or just marked a 219.5 in major competition, we love to celebrate each of their milestones!

6. Have Fun!

Most importantly Mark wants to make sure that students are having fun. Learning how to rein is hard work, but at the end of the day it’s important to Mark that all of his clients are having a good time.

Beginner Lessons Coming Soon

We have had many people contact us about offering lessons for beginner and inexperienced riders. Later this year we are looking to accomodate these students with a beginner lesson program, and a string of beginner level lesson horses.
